Move-Out Season On And Off Campus

The end of the spring semester means thousands of students will be moving out of their on-campus or off-campus residences. There are a number of steps students should take in the move out process. Students moving out of residence halls have received instructions via email and can find the latest move-out information here. In particular, on-campus students are reminded to move out 24 hours after their last final and to schedule a move-out time as soon as possible. Students moving out of off-campus residences, whether immediately after classes or sometime this summer following the conclusion of their current lease, can find a list of tips here.

Willem Dafoe To Speak At Spring Commencement

UWM will celebrate its graduates at spring commencement ceremonies Sunday, May 22 at the UWM Panther Arena. Ceremonies are scheduled for 9 a.m. and 2 p.m. Academy Award nominated actor Willem Dafoe will return to his alma mater to receive an honorary Doctor of Arts degree and be the featured speaker at each of the two commencement ceremonies. Pantherfest Springs Into Place

UWM Union Renovations Accelerate This Summer

Ongoing renovations of the UWM Union will accelerate this summer. The Union is scheduled to close completely later this month with an expected reopening in time for the start of the fall semester. Chancellor's Study Break Set For May 16

This spring's Chancellor's Study Break is Monday, May 16 at 9 p.m. in the Daniel M. Soref Learning Commons at the UWM Golda Meir Library. Students can stop by for free snacks, beverages and to visit with UWM Chancellor Mark Mone. The library is also open extended hours during finals. Student Success Center Seeks Tutors For Fall 2022

UWM’s Student Success Center is seeking supplemental instruction leaders and tutors for the Fall 2022 semester and beyond. This is a paid position – tutors and SI leaders start at $11.00/hour.

Kenilworth Guest Housing Accepting Reservations

Residential Guest Services offers fully furnished apartments with hotel-like service at short- and long-term rates at Kenilworth Square. To make a request for a reservation, go online and fill out the reservation request form in its entirety.

Summer Transportation Services Updates

Summer brings about a number of changes and service alterations in UWM's Transportation Services operations. Most notably, the summer closure of the UWM Union will also close the attached parking garage and relocate the transportation services customer service desk to the Peck School of the Arts Box Office.

Mellencamp Hall Construction Leads To Limited Opening Hours

Due to remodeling, Mellencamp Hall offices will be open Tuesdays only through May 13. A full reopening with normal business hours is scheduled for Monday, May 16. Offices are continuing to provide services remotely and are responding to phone calls, voicemails, and emails during regular office hours.
