NC State LIVE’s 50th Anniversary Season to Close with Special World Premiere

Prolific violinist Daniel Bernard Roumain and the Raleigh Civic Symphony will perform a new work highlighting a wide variety of Black composers and performers. The piece was composed during his residency at NC State earlier this year.

The annual Student Art Sale returns as a live, in-person event in the third-floor lobby of Talley Student Union on Friday, April 21, from 3 to 6 p.m. All unsold artwork will be available for sale online starting at 6:30 p.m.

  • The next “Dr. Scott’s Open Door” event is April 12 from 10 to 11:30 a.m. in Talley Student Union 3220. If you know students who would like to meet or have questions for Vice Chancellor and Dean Doneka Scott, send them over! Learn more here.
  • The Department of Performing Arts and Technology is hosting several end-of-semester concerts by student groups this week. Check out the full schedule and get tickets here.
  • University Transportation is hosting a Bike Month Kickoff event on Tuesday, April 18 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. on the Brickyard. Come by with your bike and one of the mechanics will do a safety check to get you ready for your summer rides. You can also find ways to get involved in the cycling community on- and off-campus.
