Prolific violinist Daniel Bernard Roumain and the Raleigh Civic Symphony will perform a new work highlighting a wide variety of Black composers and performers. The piece was composed during his residency at NC State earlier this year.

An opening and reception for “The I AM Gallery: Exploring the Subcultural Experiences of Black Masculinities” will be held April 16 at 2 p.m. in the African American Cultural Center Gallery, and the exhibit will remain on display through Monday, May 8.
