Scholarly Pursuits Professor Robin Boyle's article, “Preventing Predatory Alienation by High-Control Groups: The Application of Human Trafficking Laws to Groups Popularly Known as Cults, and Proposed Changes to Laws Regarding Federal Immigration, State Child Marriage, and Undue Influence,” appears in a special edition of the peer-reviewed International Journal of Coercion, Abuse, and Manipulation.
Professor Rosemary Salomone presented her paper, "The Ties that Bind: Is English Reshaping Identity and Belonging in Europe?" at the 27th International Conference of Europeanists hosted by the Council for European Studies. The paper develops themes that Professor Salomone explores in her forthcoming book, The Rise of English: Global Politics and the Power of Language (Oxford University Press), which is slated to publish later this year.
Professor Ray Warner's article, “Enterprise Group Restructuring: Dutch Options and United States Enforcement,” co-authored with Dutch Professor Dr. P.M. (Michael) Veder, has been accepted for publication in the peer-reviewed European Insolvency & Restructuring Journal. Read more about the article at our Faculty Scholarship Blog.
Well Reviewed ProfessorBainbridge.com, a widely read corporate law blog, recently reviewed "The Exit Theory of Judicial Appraisal,” a paper co-authored by Professor Keith Sharfman and Emory Law Professor William J. Carney. Professor Sharfman is a nationally recognized expert on valuation in corporate appraisal disputes and other legal contexts.
