The CCC: Radical Collaboration for Innovation Across Disciplines
Wednesday March 18 | 12p-1p | 1400 18th Ave S A2009
This week's Learning Innovation Seminar will explore connections between LIVE and the College of Connected Computing (CCC). Matthew Johnson-Roberson, inaugural Dean of the CCC will introduce its distinctive "computing for all" model, which embeds computational thinking and AI literacy across disciplines. Together we'll explore points of alignment and opportunities for collaboration between the CCC and LIVE.
The CCC's model centers on radical interdisciplinary collaboration, enabled by joint faculty appointments and collaborative degree programs, to address real-world complexity across disciplines. This structure creates innovation opportunities at the intersection of computing, education, engineering, medicine, business, and the arts. Dean Johnson-Roberson will describe the CCC’s approach and set the stage for conversation.

| |
Collaborate with your favorite AI writing tools to craft your piece, then submit your work by March 27, 2026. Winning submissions (based on both judges and student's selections) will receive prizes!
