Please stay after dinner tonight for classes that begin at 6:15 pm. Adults are studying Paul's letter to the Philippians, youth are meeting in small groups, and there are programs for children of all ages. In addition, each Wednesday is an opportunity to work on Bunk Beds with Bill Flynn.
 "Women Speak of God"
is taking Monday off for a fall break.
The study will resume on Monday, October 16th
at 6 pm in Pastor Dawn's home.
You have plenty of time to prepare for that meeting by reading the chapter on "Juana Inés de la Cruz: Respuesta a Sor Filotea de la Cruz" found HERE.
This Sunday will be the last in our series on Koinonia, studying Paul's letter to the Philippians. Read chapter 4 this week and discover how to build community and establish koinonia as we continue the story of the church.

His Kitchen is taking a break for the long weekend.  Look for the order link in next Wednesday's newsletter.
The small, family farmers of Santa Maria de Jesus, have historically struggled to make a living growing their fine Guatemalan coffee. But now, when we purchase coffee beans from their roaster, the farmers of La Armonia Hermosa receive higher prices through this direct relationship. By enjoying the fruit of their labors you are giving them new opportunities, a renewed sense of community pride, and a chance for economic sustainability. We have ordered beans this week, which will be sent as soon as they are roasted!  Look for a table in the foyer, or email the office to reserve a bag or two. $10 for a 10 oz. bag, or $15 for a full pound. We can accept cash or checks in the office, or you can pay for yours online.
Practice has begun for our Christmas Cantata.  Add your voice!  Rehearsals are in the choir room on the second floor of the Education Building, Sunday evenings at 5:30 pm. Our Jubilation Hand Bell Ringers are also working on a Christmas program. Join us for hand bell practice on Thursday mornings from 9:00-10:00 am. Contact: Philip Messner
It has been wonderful to hear from so many of our children this year! Sunday, we learned a little more about Levi Self.
