Upcoming CTE Seminar
Kristen Budd to Present Knox Showcase Seminar February 7
Kristen M. Budd, Sociology & Gerontology, the 2019 winner of the E. Phillips Knox Distinguished Teaching Award, will present the annual Knox Award Showcase Seminar for the CTE on February 7. Her seminar title is A Transformative Journey of Learning to "Let Go" in Order to Learn. Established by Miami alumnus E. Phillips Knox, a 1968 graduate, the Knox Award recognizes creative, innovative, and engaging teaching methods at the undergraduate level. It is Miami's highest teaching honor. University News and Communications featured a story on Dr. Budd's receipt of the Knox Award.
