PSU employees are invited to the next Administrative Briefing on Monday, Feb. 19, from 3–4:30 p.m. (ASRC 515 or via Zoom). University leadership will discuss the Bridge to the Future financial sustainability plan and PSU’s priorities during the current legislative session. Attendees are encouraged to submit questions in advance to help shape the presentations and the rest of the agenda.

Enjoy a fireside chat with Portland-based cartoonist and journalist Joe Sacco as he tells the personal stories of the victims of both historical and ongoing struggles through the contemporary medium of comics. Conversation moderated by PSU Associate Professor of Urban Anthropology, Federico Pérez Fernández.
This event is FREE and open to the public.

The Homelessness Research and Action Collaborative was all over the news last week as the team released a statewide homelessness report and kicked off the second-ever tri-county point-in-time count of the regional homeless population, including this feature on KGW’s The Story; Phillip Cooper, Douglas and Candace Morgan Professor in public administration, talked to CBS about presidential authority when it comes to the TikTok ban; Paul Manson, research assistant professor in the Center for Public Service, helped Axios understand Portland’s budget woes.
