MONIN has continued its commitment to launching new and intriguing flavours with the release of a Rooibos Tea Concentrate. This delicate and woody concentrate has a slight sweetness that will help ensure its place as a versatile member of any backbar line-up.
The company has said that the new concentrate is suitable for use in both hot and cold beverages alike and that it pays homage to South Africa, the home of Rooibos. MONIN has indicated that the new concentrate can be used on its own, or paired with their existing syrups, which include flavours such as Vanilla, Blackberry, Blood Orange and Rhubarb.
The Rooibos Tea Concentrate is vegan friendly and is free from artificial flavourings, colourings, and allergens.

Real-T is a new producer on the block that offers a uniquely refreshing iced tea, which delivers on freshness and taste, but contains no added sugar.
Their range of iced teas are all made using Rooibos and come in four flavours: Apple, Berry, Lemon and Peach. Real-T has said that they are using Rooibos as the base ingredient for their iced tea due to its many health benefits. Rooibos contains trace minerals, such as iron, calcium, potassium, copper, manganese, zinc and magnesium and is chock-full of anti-oxidants.
Their new products are sweetened using only natural sweeteners and do not contain any calories, making them truly guilt-free!
Further to this, Real-T is Halaal- and Kosher-friendly.

Japanese company Le Café has produced a range of iced teas that are made from Rooibos. They have now partnered with the apparel brand, Global Work, for a one-of-a-kind collaboration.
Le Café has a range of five flavours of iced tea. Thanks to their partnership with Global Work, the clothing company will be releasing a Spring Collection that features outfits that match Le Café’s unique drinks!
This unique promotional campaign sees outfits inspired by the colours of the branding on Le Café’s iced teas. Currently, the teas are stocked in the Japanese convenience store chain, Lawson.

In the USA, Trader Joe’s has recently increased their baking mix offerings to include a new, easy-to-bake blood orange cake mix.
They released the product with a blog post on their website. In the article, they give some suggestions as to how this cake can be enjoyed. One way in which they have suggested customers can present their cake creations is by pairing it with their unique blood orange Rooibos tea!
They have said that the subtle sweetness that Rooibos tea offers works well with the bitterness of the blood orange cake.

| Cafe Onhwa in Seoul, South Korea, has launched a brand-new strawberry menu. As the name suggests, all the items presented under this ensemble feature strawberries in some form.
One of the items on the menu is a unique strawberry Rooibos tea! The strawberry Rooibos tea combines the fresh tartness of strawberries with the soothingly soft sweetness of Rooibos.
According to critics who have tried the menu, the tea pairs marvelously with other items on the menu, like strawberry soufflé pancakes and a strawberry yoghurt float.
