NIGHT

"Last Supper"
The last Wednesday night gathering of each month, (tonight, October 25th, and November 15th), will be a time of intergenerational fellowship, fun, and discussion. Classes will not meet on these nights and we may even get home a little early. Our hope is that each "Last Supper" will help us learn more about one another and will also be a fun time of celebration. Each month will have a different theme; tonight we'll play BINGO! So, if you can't commit to every Wednesday night, or if a night class is not your thing right now, I hope you will still make time to join us for the "Last Supper" each month so we can get to know one another better.
Tonight at 5:30 pm we'll have: Breakfast for Dinner!
Same prices as last year: $7 for adults, $4 for children with a $23 family maximum. Pay with cash, check, or, (new this year), by debit or credit card.
 "Women Speak of God"
will be held at 6 pm in Pastor Dawn's home Monday, October 2nd.
It's not too late to jump in! Prepare for Monday's meeting by reading the chapter on "Marcrina: On the Soul and the Resurrection" found HERE
This Sunday will be the third in our series on Koinonia, studying Paul's letter to the Philippians. Read chapter 3 this week and we'll discover together how to build community and establish koinonia as we continue the story of the church.

This Sunday

Men of all ages are invited for breakfast, fellowship and a program in The Garden at 7:30 am.
Serve His Kitchen meals to your family, or order something to a help a sick friend or new mom!  Order from this link, and pick up your food on Monday, October 2nd between 4:00-6:00 pm. (It's ready to heat-and-eat right away, or you can freeze it to use later.) This is a win-win! You solve the hectic-week-night-dinner-dilema, AND all profits are used to support the missions of PHUMC!
October's Communion offering will go directly to the United Methodist Committee on Relief, (UMCOR). Half of the offering will provide disaster relief in the United States, and the other half will alleviate suffering abroad. Be assured that 100% of your donation is used for disaster response; UMCOR deducts no salaries or administrative costs.
