DEADLINE EXTENDED! Apply for a  generous stipend [$5,000 for undergrads and $50,000 for law students] if you identify as part of a racial or ethnic group that is underrepresented in the legal profession and meet additional requirements. There are fantastic benefits to recipients beyond the stipend. 

The goal of the stipend is to remove financial barriers to the successful completion of law school and the successful start of the recipient’s career.

Exploring Legal Career Paths through the Lens of Healthcare Law and Policy

This event is for EVERYONE that is interested in the legal profession! The Tufts Lawyers Association and Tufts Career Center invite alumni and students to listen to experienced panelists talk about various careers in the legal field and their intersection with health and wellness.

Hear from lawyers with experience working at Pfizer, CVS, with mental health clients, on medical malpractice cases, as in-house counsel, and so much more! Gain insights into how the future landscape may shift. Networking and delicious reception following panel. Food served for all attendees and beer/ wine reception for alumni.

Pre-Law Society x TUPIT collaboration event — Criminal Law Panel: Advocacy in Action. This panel will feature two criminal lawyers who can speak to the power attorneys can have in the U.S. criminal legal system. Two formerly incarcerated people will share their experience being a defendant in a criminal case and the power of high quality legal advocacy.

More legal employers are coming to campus to meet with students and alumni to discuss internships and full-time jobs. We will have a variety of industries in the legal field represented. This event will take place in the main lobby of the Mayer Campus Center with a couple of presentations as well.
