Dear students, faculty, and staff,
I’m delighted to share with you that Ken Frazier, one of America’s most acclaimed business executives and leaders, will be our Commencement speaker this year. In addition to currently serving as chairman of Health Assurance initiatives for the venture capital firm General Catalyst, Mr. Frazier is noted for his remarkable tenure as the former president, CEO, and executive chairman of Merck where he focused on expanding investment in research and in achieving responsible innovation towards the larger goal of reaching health equity. I look forward to welcoming him to campus to share his important message for our graduating students.
Joining Mr. Frazier will be two other individuals––Terri Lyne Carrington and David Walt––who will receive honorary degrees as part of the Class of 2026. The complete details can be found on Tufts Now; I encourage everyone to learn more about our distinguished honorees.
Best wishes,
Sunil Kumar
President
