Kristallnacht Commemoration Sponsored by The Sister Rose Thering Fund at Walsh Gallery
|
On Tuesday, November 11, The Sister Rose Thering Fund for Education in Jewish-Christian Studies commemorated Kristallnacht, or the Night of Broken Glass, featuring speakers, music and reflection on an event many consider the first atrocity of the Holocaust. Due to the cold windy weather, the event took place in Walsh Gallery on the first floor of the library. Despite the ongoing construction, the Gallery is hosting an interactive exhibit on the canonization of Elizabeth Ann Seton, and continues to host gatherings and events. If you would like to schedule an event or class visit to the Gallery, please contact us at walshgallery@shu.edu.
