Dear UMKC faculty, staff and students,
Earlier today, the University of Missouri System Board of Curators voted to approve new tuition rates and fees for the 2024-25 academic year. The new rates include increases for the University of Missouri-Kansas City of 5% for undergraduate programs as well as 3.5% to 5% for graduate and professional programs, depending on the academic program. The new rates allow UMKC to continue to provide an incredible value for students.
A full list of the 2024-25 academic year rates and fees is available on the Cashier’s Office website.
UMKC is dedicated to supporting students academically and financially. Nearly 90% of freshmen and more than 75% of transfer students receive financial aid while at UMKC, and the university has introduced many scholarships and programs to help our students pay for college.
As a result of this commitment to affordability, school-related debt for UMKC undergraduate students has decreased more than 17% since the 2018-19 academic year.
We are proud to offer UMKC students a world-class education, unmatched career-building opportunities and the ability to contribute to world-changing research at a price they can afford. We look forward to another year of learning, discovery and innovation.
Sincerely,
Mauli Agrawal, Ph.D.
