Guidelines for Miss(issippi) Corona Remain Active
| |
Masks? Still a thing. Everyone should wear a mask while in ALL indoor public places on campus. Choose a mask that has two or more layers, covers both your nose and mouth, and has a nose wire.
Let’s Get Boosted! If you are eligible, go get vaccinated or boosted. It is proven that vaccinations help lessen the severity of symptoms of COVID-19. The Student Health Center offers FREE vaccinations on a walk-up basis (weekdays 8 a.m.–5 p.m., except on Thursdays when it is open 8 a.m.–4 p.m.)
If you test positive for COVID-19, notify your instructors and/or supervisor(s), as well as report it to the Health Center at (662) 915-7274. Have a plan in case you need to quarantine/isolate. The university will provide limited quarantine and isolation space for students living on-campus.
Pause large gatherings. Help us reach the end of the Omicron surge sooner by holding large group functions virtually and consider postponing non-essential gatherings.
