Alongside her dynamic career, Kiri is passionate about animal welfare and enjoys unwinding at home with her extensive menagerie of pets and farm animals.

Denise Wrigley, LVT at the Veterinary Teaching Hospital, enjoys the rewarding experience of watching veterinary students grow and excel. A former bass player in a metal band, she is inspired by her supportive father and treasures impactful moments, like aiding in the recovery of Fiona, a dog with a severe liver injury.

Allen Messenger '09, DVM '13, MPH '19, attending Veterinarian at the Joint Special Operations Medical Training Center. Messenger credits his education at VMCVM for equipping him with essential clinical skills and problem-solving abilities. He champions the welfare of Department of Defense animals and advocates for public understanding of animal use in research. Outside work, he enjoys gardening and aspires to visit every U.S. National Park.
