Tonight is the night!
We've been eagerly anticipating another opportunity to join with the Body of Christ at Anderson UMC for fellowship, worship and praise. Pastor Joe May invites all of us to a Harvest Service at Anderson United Methodist Church. We will break bread together at 6:00 pm with a dinner their congregation is preparing for us! We will bring the desserts to share. (There is no charge for dinner, but they will be collecting donations for Stop Hunger Now.) By 6:30 we'll begin a time of worship which will include music provided by Anderson's amazing choir, Parkway Hills' Jubilation Handbell Ringers, and a message brought by our own Bruce Case! We are praying for a great turn-out for what is sure to be a wonderful blessing to all who attend. Remember, we do best what we do together, and we are ALL in this together! See you tonight!

Welcome our Newest Member

Join us to welcome Benjamin Wyatt, the precious newborn son of Jody and Mandy Nichols! Connor, Sawyer and Reed are proud big brothers, and Jody reports everyone is doing great. You know this will be an extremely busy time in the Nichols' household, so please contact Jody or Mandy to offer your congratulations, and find out when you can supply a meal, run an errand or help out in some way. We do best the things we do together!

For those who have already ordered Thanksgiving side dishes from HIS KITCHEN, don't forget that pick-up is Saturday, (November 19th), between 9 and 11:00 am. Weekly ordering will resume after Thanksgiving. Thanks for your support!

Church-Wide Thanksgiving Dinner

PHUMC will supply the turkey, dressing, gravy and rolls; you bring your favorite side dishes and desserts to share! We have so much for which to be thankful- let's join as a community and be grateful together!

*Service Opportunity: We need 4 people with carving skills to come at 5:00 pm on Sunday to help us carve the 8 turkeys we have ordered for dinner. Please click here to let us know if you can help .

Thanksgiving in Jerusalem
Our friends at Galloway UMC invite all of us to celebrate Thanksgiving with their Grace Place Guests next Tuesday, November 22nd. A time of worship begins at 11:30 am in the Fellowship Center, followed by a shared meal. No need to bring anything but love.

Early this morning, a group from PHUMC gathered at Grace Place to worship together with close to 100 men and women who came to pray, sing, and take communion before enjoying a hot meal. They were so appreciative of the pouches we distributed, and after hearing some of their stories, we have a better idea of what else we can do to help. Contact Juliet Huam if you would like to become a part of the Ministry with the Homeless.
