Welcoming our New Athletic Director

As many of you have heard, Athletic Director Jamie Heiner will be leaving Valor at the end of the school year to pursue a role in full-time ministry at Journey Church. We thank Jamie for faithful service over the past seven years, and we are excited to welcome Brian Bonn as our new Athletic Director.
Brian joined Valor in 2012 and has served in multiple roles, including Assistant Athletic Director, Head Baseball Coach, and Photography teacher. He says, “I am excited for the opportunity to continue my commitment to excellence at Valor Christian High School as the Athletic Director. I look forward to leading our Athletic program in our mission to mentor young men and women and glorify God through sport. Go Eagles!”

Final Transcripts

The college counseling department will automatically send your final transcripts to the college you will be attending, as indicated in Naviance, by June 15.  You do not need to request this.  If you are attending a college other than the one you originally indicated in Naviance, please update it to the correct one and notify your counselor.
Athletes - If you have registered with the NCAA Eligibility Center, you should be getting notices about submitting your 8 semester/final transcripts. We will be submitting those transcripts as soon as all grades are complete and finalized. You do not need to notify Valor or your counselor.

Transferring AP Credit

If you took an AP exam and hope to get credit in college, you must request your official score report through www.collegeboard.org. You must set up a collegeboard account in order to do this. The scores will be released by mid-July.

Transferring Dual Credit

If you took dual credit at Valor through CCU and hope to transfer credit to your college, you must request a transcript from them. Please visit www.ccu.edu/transcript and scroll down to "Dual Credit Students."

Notify Your Colleges

Please contact all the colleges who offered you admission and let them know your decision as to whether or not you will be enrolling.

College Application Information

All rising seniors and their parents should have received an email on Thursday, May 2, with a link to critical information regarding the College Application Process. If you have any questions, contact your student's counselor directly.

Athlete Transcript Requests

If you have registered with the NCAA Eligibility Center, you should be getting notices about submitting your six semester transcripts. We will be submitting those transcripts as soon as all grades are complete and finalized. You do not need to notify Valor or your counselor.
