  Love Christmas   Baking?
We are happy to be providing desserts for the Methodist Children's Home Christmas Party this year!  Want to help?  We need lots of cooks to provide enough sweets to serve 120 people. (If you can't decide what to make, the teens there always request banana pudding! The party is Saturday, December 19th.  Please contact April Stephenson if you have any questions, or to let her know she can count on you to help supply the desserts.  THANK YOU!

Trey Jones says service is all he knows!  Trained as a minister, currently a consultant, his heart has led him in the past to serve as CEO/Director of many non-profits including The Mustard Seed, Make-A-Wish, Habitat For Humanity, and The Salvation Army Center for Worship and Service. Originally from Fort Worth, TX, Trey now calls Clinton, MS home.  His wife, Missy, is a visiting lecturer at Mississippi College while simultaneously working on her PhD.  She is passionate about shedding light on Civil War Reconstruction and Civil Rights inaccuracies. Their son, Evan, (17), is a dedicated swimmer; their daughter, Gabi, (16), loves the arts and graphic design. Introduce yourself to Trey - look for him at the 8:30 service, or in the Open Doors Sunday School class - and help him find ways to welcome, grow, serve and celebrate with us here at PHUMC!

Thanks Children!
What a wonderful presentation by our K-3rd grade choir!  Thank you so much for helping us prepare our hearts for Jesus during this Advent season.  If you missed it, or if you would like to see the entire presentation, the children will be sharing their gift of song with the residents of the Sunnybrook Retirement Center TONIGHT at 5:30 pm.
