Church-Wide Clean-Up

Come pitch in with chores such as blowing leaves off the pathways at the stations of the cross, clearing away limbs and pinecones, and cleaning our playground area. Inside, we need some furniture polished and some lightbulbs replaced. Bring gloves and perhaps a few small tools, (rakes, wheelbarrows, sponges, rags), to help us spruce up our beautiful campus for our spring activities! Saturday, March 24th, 8:00 am - Noon
Our Lenten challenge this year is to provide enough books for EVERY CHILD at East Flora Elementary to have age-appropriate, interesting books to read in their classroom and in their homes.
We are well on the way!
The Principal and Librarian of East Flora Elementary School were THRILLED with our first delivery of books!
Please donate new or gently-read books suitable for children in Kindergarten through 5th grade to this effort. Any Newbery Award Winners, Caldecott Medal Books, or books YOUR children loved at this age would be great! For more ideas, check out these authors the school's librarian requests for classroom author studies.  Thank you!

ATTENTION MEN:
The Thursday morning Men's Group, (the one that's been meeting at Panera Bread), will meet tomorrow at CC's Coffee House in Ridgeland. Join us at 7:15 am in the Community Room, which will be on your immediate right as you enter. (We are looking forward to meeting in a designated room with better acoustics!) Men of all ages: if you have not yet found a small group - this may be just what you need. Check it out tomorrow morning, (and every Thursday morning), at 7:15 am to take part in great discussion, strong fellowship and biblical accountability.
Dinner at 5:30 TONIGHT:
Menu: Pot roast, green beans, mashed potato casserole, rolls, salad, dessert and tea. Kids Option: Pizza, lemonade.
Programs for all ages at 6:15, including a study of the Three Simple Rules with Reverend Flowers, and Bunk Bed Building with Bill Flynn.

Easter Egg Hunt!

All children through 3rd grade are invited to join us on Sunday, March 25th at 3:00 pm for an Easter Egg Hunt and activities! Please bring 12 treat-filled eggs in a bag labeled with your child's name and age anytime between now and the morning of the egg hunt. (There'll be collection bins in each foyer.) Don't forget your camera to capture some pictures with the Easter Bunny!
Worship with us each Sunday in Lent and ask:
Are you living into God's strength or your own?
