Tim Logan, who composed the artwork above, is an artist, storyteller, advocate, and part of Room In The Inn's permanent supportive housing community. He wrote the following poem to accompany this piece:

I got lost out there not knowing what to do. 

The lies I would tell, 

I believed them too. 

I trusted no one, not even myself. 

I wasn’t scared of much, not even death. 

But my life has changed. I have a new story. 

By the grace of God, I give Him all the Glory… 

Take 2–3 minutes to pause and speak (or write) one true thing about your life—something honest about where you are, what you feel, or what you hope for. It can be a gratitude, a struggle, a fear, or a small victory.

Then, end by naming one way grace is at work in your life today—something that brings light, strength, or hope. 

God of truth and mercy, 

when we lose our way and forget who we are, 

speak your steady word into our wandering hearts. 

Pull us back from the lies we believe 

and remind us that your grace can rewrite any story. 

Thank you for the strength that finds us 

and the hope that lifts us into new life.  Amen.
