Registration opens TODAY for 25+ unique Practicum experiences! Following Spring Break, students enjoy an extra week off to participate in local and national experiences that include things like fly fishing, snowboarding, film, crafting, service projects, and so much more.
Explore all the options today, spots are filled on a first-come, first-served basis.

It's almost time for Discovery's annual fundraiser, Taste of Discovery, on Sunday, February 9. This cultural culinary event takes guests around the world, with international and local food samplings from more than a dozen live kitchens, including Smokin’ Fins and Cranelli’s.
Get tickets for this dinner and live auction to help benefit Valor’s program to send students across the country and around the world in the name of Christ!

MLK Weekend Modified Schedules
There will be no school on Monday, January 20 due to Martin Luther King, Jr. Day. Tuesday, January 21 will be a late start, beginning at 10:00 am with red period.

Winter Dance: Night in the MoviesValor Student Leadership Board presents the second annual winter dance and costume party, Night In The Movies, on Saturday, February 1 at 8:00 pm in the small gym. Choose to dress as a famous celebrity, a movie character or a moviegoer and party with your friends. No masks or weapons, please.
Tickets are now available for purchase online for $20 or $25 at the door!

Share Your Story of Faith and BusinessEach spring semester, the Valor business department offers a business lecture series for all Valor students. We know there are many great business and faith stories within the Valor community and we would like to learn from you! Are you interested in sharing your “faith and business” story?
Lectures take place during lunch from 12:00-12:30 on January 29, February 26, March 11, April 1, and April 22.

Junior Family College NightJuniors and parents, don't miss this evening this Wednesday, January 22! Starting at 5:45 pm in the Valor Center, you'll have the chance to meet with college reps and hear important information on the college search process.

Parent Art Gallery TourThe Valor Arts Guild invites all parents to the Western Stock Show for a private Curator's tour of the Coors Western Art Show on January 22. Those interested in carpooling will meet at Valor at 9:00 am, and the tour begins at 10:15 am with lunch afterward. Entrance tickets are $12 (Lunch is not included in the entrance price).

Hockey Military Appreciation GameValor Hockey's 3rd Annual Military Appreciation game took place on Saturday, January 11. The event honored all five branches of our Military with ceremonies before the game and during both intermissions. A number of former Valor students who are currently serving were honored, along with relatives and members of the players' families who have served.
To top it off, the team came out with a 2-0 win over Mountain Vista!
