We can hardly wait until next Wednesday, June 22nd at 6:30 pm
for our church-wide, family-friendly Shrimp Boil, and you don't want to miss it!  Our favorite DJ, Rick Kolar, is preparing his play list, Louise Johnson and Marc Tullos are busy ordering our food and organizing their legion of cooks, games such as horseshoes and badminton are being collected to set up on our beautiful grounds for all to enjoy!
So, bring a lawn chair or blanket, and plan to CELEBRATE the Parkway Hills way - with food, music and fun.  Our Wonderful Youth have committed to help serve, clean-up, and refill drinks!  Donations above the cost of the meal will benefit our youth program - so please give generously!

This is Week 3 of our Luggage Drive, and our foyer is full once again!  We are collecting gently-used suitcases, duffel bags, and backpacks to share with children through Mississippi Children's Home Services; we want every child to be able to carry their belongings with dignity and self-respect as they move to and from temporary homes.  Wayne Jones will make sure your donations get to the children who need them.  He suggests we "leave our emotional baggage at the foot of the cross, but our no-longer needed luggage in the foyer of the education building"!

Starting this Sunday, June 19th, Bruce will lead a 
class during the Sunday School hour for all of our college-age young people who are in town for the summer.  The first class will begin with "Four Things I Wish Someone Had Told Me When I Was in College".  You may have a few more things to add to that list, or you may have other things on your mind to discuss.  Join Bruce in his office, this Sunday, at 9:45 am.
