Graduate Writing Retreats are week-long, writing-intensive events designed to help you make significant progress on your thesis, dissertation, qualifying papers, capstone, or related independent writing projects. Graduate writing retreats provide a supportive environment where you can learn and practice healthy writing habits and focus on your writing. Each retreat includes weekly and daily goal setting, dedicated writing time, and the opportunity for feedback from graduate writing consultants as desired. Note: goal setting, planning, and optional feedback are part of the retreat, but this is not a writing class and will not provide group instruction. The majority of the time will be spent quietly writing. Participants must be working on an independent project.
During the academic semester, the Student Accessibility and Academic Resources (StAAR) Center offers individual writing consultations, academic success coaching, and workshops—including one on starting the thesis process. Email Kristina.Aikens@tufts.edu with any questions or for more information about how we can support your writing goals!
Sincerely,
