Hello, and greetings from Undergraduate Admissions!
Soon we will be hosting prospective students on campus for the Voices of Tufts Diversity Experience, an overnight program for high school seniors interested in learning more about diversity and community at Tufts. This year, our in-person Voices program will take place on Sunday, October 1 – Monday, October 2.
We would love for you to volunteer your space to host one or more prospective students overnight on Sunday, October 1. Hosts must live in a residence hall on the Medford/Somerville campus. The time commitment is light; students will have planned activities during most of the day on October 1 and 2. You only need to be available beginning at 5:30 p.m. on Sunday, October 1 to meet your student(s). Then you will allow them to leave their items in your room and sleep there until the morning of October 2. Students will be encouraged to bring a sleeping bag and may sleep on the floor.
To sign up to host, please click this link and log in to your SIS portal to access the Voices overnight host form (“Volunteer for Tufts Voices Overnight Hosting”).
We do our best to match hosts and prospective students based on hometown and/or academic interests, and shortly before the Voices event, we will provide the details for the student(s) you will be hosting.
Voices could not be successful without your help and rest assured that your time as a host will have a significant impact on the college decision-making of our prospective students. Please contact me if you have specific questions or concerns.
Best,
Voices Planning Team
