The Tennessee Local Development Authority (TLDA) has asked for public comment on their proposed policy and guidance for State Revolving Fund program borrowers.  Comments are due by 4:30pm on August 31st, 2016 and should be sent to the Office of State and Local Finance within the Comptroller of the Treasury's office.  To view the proposed changes, click here.  To view the memo from the Comptroller's Office regarding the public comment period, click here.  
FEMA has announced funding opportunities available for Continuing Training Grants program.  This program will provide $11.5 million to qualfied applicants to help improve the nation's ability to respond to and recover from all-hazard events.  These awards focus on four main areas: Cybersecurity, Hazardous Materials, Economic Recovery, and Rural Preparedness.  The deadline to submit an application for a grant is August 22nd.  Click here for more information.
