A little taste in case you missed it
Breakfast for Champions
Our May Breakfast for Champions program featured Dr. Steve Nakana from PGE. It was part two of a two-part interactive, group-based workshop designed to help participants design a strategic framework for mapping and implementing a DEI plan. Guest had the opportunity to network, work as a team, and build a solution tree to advance DEI in the workplace.
Asian Pacific Islander Community Resource Group
We also had great turnout at the May 25 event hosted by Partners in Diversity Asian Pacific Islander Community Resource Group, where a panel of API leaders discussed the challenges of being a leader where Asians are underrepresented and how their identities affected their roles as leaders. Speakers included Sheila Murty (Executive VP of People & Culture, Tillamook County Creamery Association), Steve Pao (Co-founder & Chief Production Officer, AMPLL), and Mari Watanabe (Executive Director, Partners in Diversity).

Last call for internship survey
Partners in Diversity wants to know if there is more that we can do to help employers support young, diverse talent. If your organization has a regular internship program, please help us by completing this survey. It takes about 10-15 minutes. Thank you for your support.
