TVA EnergyRight and the Department of Energy (DOE) Federal Energy Management Program (FEMP) have partnered to conduct a virtual open house for federal agencies located in the Valley Region to learn about TVA offerings focused on achieving federal energy goals.
This is a great opportunity to support federal facilities in your area to help them thrive and grow. We encourage representatives from regional federal agencies, LPCs and support contractors to attend this virtual event scheduled for July 16, 2024, 10:00 a.m. – 2:30 p.m. ET.

PowerFlex is open for enrollment
|
Recruitment for PowerFlex, TVA's newest Demand Response program, is now open. Early enrollment incentives can be attained by signing up before August 1. PowerFlex is designed for facilities already in the region, with a contracted load of greater than 1 MW and a 500 kW annual average on-peak interruptible demand. Existing IP5 and IP30 participants are encouraged to transition to this program.
Participants will earn monthly demand credits up to $9.47/kW-month plus incentives and event-specific energy credits of $100/MWh. If you have an interested customer, please contact your ESC.

Turnkey support available for residential on-bill financing |
TVA is now offering turnkey support for Regions On-Bill Financing to enrolled LPCs. Turnkey on-bill financing support consists of loan origination assistance including application intake, loan coordination, UCC1 filing and inspections. Any LPC previously offering off-bill financing can contact their ESC to enroll in Regions On-Bill Financing to continue offering energy efficiency loans for their customers.
The updated on-bill loan application is now available on Valley Connect (Programs > Residential > EnergyRight Finance) on June 20, 2024.

Encourage contractors from your area to become members of our Quality Contractor and Preferred Partners Networks!
The Quality Contractor Network (QCN) installs residential energy upgrades and offers participating contractors customer leads and access to TVA EnergyRight rebates and financing for customers.
On May 1, 2024, we announced boosted QCN Contractor Rewards across all sub-measures except for tune-ups. This applies to all project applications submitted until September 30, 2024.
The Preferred Partners Network (PPN) installs commercial and industrial energy upgrades. Participating contractors receive benefits including project leads, free co-branding support, exclusive access to TVA EnergyRight incentives for their customers and energy calculation tools.

| The Fast Charge Network passes 1 million miles! |
Since its launch in 2022, the Fast Charge Network has surpassed over 15,000 charging sessions, equaling over 1 million EV miles driven. As of May 1st, 2024, we have 26 charging sites representing 60 fast chargers, with more to come!
If your LPC territory is near a major highway or travel corridor and you’re interested in participating in the Fast Charge Network, please contact your ESC.

Celebrate summer nights with the DIY Home Energy Assessment Sweepstakes! |
This summer, we are encouraging Valley residents to turn down the lights, give the oven a night off and leave personal devices inside – so they can get out and enjoy the summer nights! The Summer Nights sweepstakes will run June 24th - August 4th. Residents can enter to win one of two grand prize packages (worth $600) or weekly prizes by completing the DIY Home Energy Assessment or a Home Energy Evaluation. LPC employees are also eligible to enter.
TVA EnergyRight will advertise the sweepstakes via paid social media ads, radio streaming messages, listserv emails and digital display ads.

| Inform customers about the limited-time attic rebate offer |
From May 1, 2024, to September 30, 2024, we have increased the rebate for attic insulation projects to $500 and increased QCN contractor rewards for attic insulation projects to $100. Proper insulation provides a great energy savings value to the grid and a more comfortable and energy-efficient home for participants.

Friends in Low (Energy Use Intensity) Places?! |

| We are thrilled to highlight a recent project with Nashville Electric Service to provide Garth Brooks’ Friends in Low Places Bar & Honky Tonk with $73,500 in energy efficiency incentives!
They installed 64 VRF ceiling-mounted air handlers, 19 VRF condensing units and 21 VRF air handlers, which will provide 85,620 kWh in annual savings.

Did you know School Uplift participants reduce their energy bills by 10% on average? In addition to energy savings, schools completing the program receive grants ranging from $10,000 to $200,000 for projects that improve the facility and learning experience.

Available on a first-come first-served basis, we're offering cobranded 30-second commercials for LPC partners to utilize on their channels. The video’s overall message is “Helping you Do EnergyRight” and highlights how TVA EnergyRight and LPCs partner to help people save at home, at work and on the road. Each commercial will feature a custom voice-over referencing your LPC by name and a visual end card with your logo.
We are also producing cobranded pull-up banners advertising the DIY Home Energy Assessment for LPC partners to utilize in their lobbies or at community events.
