Travel With Purpose: Join the UA VIDA Club!
Welcome to University of Arizona to all incoming students and welcome back to all returning students! We are excited to announce VIDA Club will be hosting their first meeting Wednesday September 2nd at 6:30 pm (Arizona time) via Zoom.
The University of Arizona VIDA Club is a group of dedicated students learning/practicing clinical and cultural skills to volunteer their time in Central America. The team performs three categories of healthcare in the undeveloped communities: dental, medical and veterinary. Our teams hold free clinics in underserved communities for 8 hours or more a day for two weeks.
In addition to their clinical days, they also get a handful recreational days where they get to go ziplining, rafting, exploring cities and more! This opportunity has not only assisted past students applying to a professional program by getting their clinical hours, but as well as made them stand out in interviews for their cultural diversity and experience. Our team hopes to see you there! Pura vida!
