Dear Friends and Colleagues,
As we welcome 2024, it’s a great time to share the latest University Libraries news, events, and stories that reflect our essential contributions to the success of the University of Arizona.
Our faculty and staff members are the engine that drives University Libraries to new levels of success every year, maintaining a strategic balance between providing traditional library services and innovating in new areas of impact.
We appreciate your support in recognizing that student learning and faculty research at the University of Arizona can only reach its full potential by working hand-in-hand with a world-class library system.
We look forward to sharing more stories with you in the coming year.

Cheryl Gerken is Course Contents Initiatives Librarian in our Collection Services department. "I love the complexities of an academic library – there are so many different types of positions and unique work that people do. Learning about how this work intersects across departments has been really interesting, and it also helps that I really love my job," she said.
