Dear Literary Sojourn fans,

Literary Sojourn, Steamboat Springs’ premier festival of authors, is right around the corner. The 25th annual event will be held at our new venue, the Strings Pavilion on Saturday, September 16.

Parking

Free all-day parking is available at the Strings’ lot which is accessed through an entrance in the Wildhorse Marketplace. Handicapped parking is located next to the Pavilion. The entrance to the Pavilion parking closes at 1:00 pm, so be certain to arrive a bit early if you need to park in the handicapped spaces.

The Literary Sojourn program begins at 1:30 pm. Doors open at 1:00 pm. Unlike past years, all seating is reserved so there is no need to arrive early in order to vie for seats.

The complete program schedule is available online. A water station and drinking fountain are available if you wish to bring a refillable water bottle as we strive to be a green, sustainable event. We encourage you to enjoy lunch in one of Steamboat’s wonderful restaurants before the event, as our light Rocky Mountain-style tea featuring delectable small finger sandwiches, sweets and fruit, complimentary coffee/tea and lemonade, and a cash bar, is a late-afternoon break, at 3 pm.
