Thanks to first-ever title sponsor First Security Bank, Arkansas high school students will have the chance to compete in a one-day personal finance challenge April 8.

Teams of three or four students will develop a detailed financial plan for a fictious family with recommendations to decrease debt, reach savings goals, minimize taxes and similar topics. 

The winner will receive a cash prize and advance to the national competition in Nebraska
in May.

Did you know that each student team has to pay a fee to play the Stock Market Game? This year, we received more than $47,000 in team scholarship requests from over 150 schools across the state.
