Mark your calendar for Schulich Giving Day 2023, on Tuesday, November 28. We are pleased to introduce Anna Ewing (MBA ’88) as the Schulich Giving Day 2023 Inaugural Honorary Chair. Anna Ewing is a Board Member, Advisor and Former CIO of Nasdaq.
We have expanded our goal to $200,000 this year and are excited to announce that Schulich alumni Peter Mackenzie (MBA ’86) and Kate Zeidler, Marti Morfitt (MBA ’86), Brian Lau (MBA ’91) and Gemma Lau, and the Estate of George Svec (MBA ’69) and Katherine Meaney Svec will be generously supporting Schulich Giving Day with a combined match of $100,000. All donations received from November 1 to November 28 will be eligible for this match.

Schulich Alumni Chapters Global Strategy Sessions

In October, Dean Detlev Zwick, Pam Laycock (MBA '89), President of the Global Alumni Network, Christina Niederwanger, Executive Director, Advancement and Alumni Engagement, and Karina Butzek-Morris, Director of Alumni Engagement, hosted three virtual strategy sessions which brought together 38 of our Alumni Chapter Presidents from 27 cities across the globe. These discussions gathered valuable insights and suggestions on expanding our global network further to leverage and support our diverse and inclusive global community. This award recognizes one EMBA student who has made a meaningful impact on, and has shown a continued commitment to, the advancement of underrepresented groups, including Black, Indigenous, People of Colour, Women, Disabled, and 2SLGBTQ+ communities.
