We recognize that the last week has been incredibly challenging for many members of the Tufts community, particularly those who may be directly impacted by immigration enforcement actions.

On Wednesday, April 2, at 5 p.m., the Office of the Provost is sponsoring an immigration information session for members of the Tufts community who are or may be directly impacted by immigration enforcement actions.

Due to the sensitive nature of this topic and the importance of allowing those most impacted to ask questions, we ask that only those who are or may be directly impacted by these actions register or submit questions for this event. More information for the broader Tufts community is included at the end of this message.

This information session will include a presentation from immigration attorney Dan Berger from Green & Spiegel, who will share important information on the current immigration landscape and rights. The Office of University Counsel and the International Center will provide updates and information about protocols, and the meeting will end with a Q&A session.

Tufts community members who are not directly impacted by immigration enforcement actions but who want to learn more about changes in immigration enforcement are encouraged to read through the information about preparation for immigration enforcement issues on this slide deck from a presentation given last week at The Fletcher School.

We know it is challenging when these events occur with minimal notice. We are moving as quickly as possible to offer programming in a complex environment with ongoing and often rapid developments. We appreciate your understanding.
