Spring registration starts this week! A list of registration dates can be found below:

November 11 - Degree Seeking Graduates, Honors, Veterans, Students registered with DRS

November 14 - UofM Global Students, ACAD 1100 Students

November 15 - Seniors & Juniors

November 17 - Sophomores & Freshmen 

November 23 - Non-Degree Seeking 

Login and Register

Register online through the myMemphis portal as early as possible for the best course selection; once you are in the portal, look for the Register for Classes  link on your Student page. Also:

Refer to the Registration Quick Guide for an overview of online registration.

If you encounter problems trying to register, refer to our Errors and Problems page.

If you need a permit to register for a particular section, refer to our Permits page.

If a course section is full, you can add yourself to a waitlist and be notified if a space opens up for you. 

Review your personal class schedule after you have registered for classes. Check it for accuracy. Look especially at time, days, room, and campus location.

The Leader to Leader lecture series provides opportunities for University of Memphis students to meet and interact with community leaders over a meal. The lectures offer real-life perspectives and open-ended discussions about what it takes to be a leader in the community and/or a specific profession. All University of Memphis students are invited to participate. Joi Taylor, Choose901: Alumni Director at City Leadership, is a lifelong Memphian who truly loves and believes in the power of her city and its residents. She graduated from The University of Memphis, where she studied Social Work and minored in Spanish in hopes of becoming a real change agent in Memphis's economic and community development world. She has advocated for quality education opportunities for the state of Tennessee and is a strong proponent of helping solve chronic homelessness in Memphis. Joi has had the opportunity to serve on various boards and councils and be recognized as Memphis Flyer’s Top 20 under 30 class of 2020.

Head on over to Highland Strip for one night of six concerts! The ComboNation Concert showcases the talented musical groups at the University of Memphis. Concerts will include music from multiple genres including contemporary rock and pop, to blues, jazz and classic rock. Free admission..

We are excited to celebrate our second signature event. On November 16th from 11am -2:30pm at the Tiger Den, UofM Dining will be hosting our large Friendsgiving event, called Thankful. University of Memphis will be one of 300+ college campuses simultaneously celebrating our community and giving thanks. Students and faculty will be able to come together at the Tiger Den to enjoy a full Thanksgiving themed lunch menu, including fun favorites such as carved roasted turkey, mac &cheese, brown sugar glazed ham, and chili lime butternut squash. There will be opportunities to give back to the community, gratitude activities, a photo booth, free giveaways, and so much more! We will be running our Thankful Food Drive on November 4th- 30th. We will be collecting non-perishable food items that will be donated to our on-campus Tiger Pantry. There will be drop off locations at the Tiger Den, the Admin building, and the University Center Food Court. Thank you in advance for your support. Please visit Dine On Campus for hours of operation. Themes of love, fear, overcoming, belonging, and vulnerability drive Mazi’s moving performance. Free admission

Vegetable Adventures: Lasagna We close out the fall cooking series with our most requested topic. You’ll make a vegetable lasagna (for two) to take home and bake. Then we’ll sit down together to enjoy lasagna the Nutrition team has made in advance. You’ll learn the building blocks for making lasagna your way…all veggie, loaded with herbs, with noodle options, super saucy or dense and creamy. Plus how to amp up flavor with techniques for caramelizing onions and reducing a sauce. Our meals include cheese, but will not include meat. The University of Memphis Opera presents Trouble in Tahiti & Dr. Miracle

University of Memphis Opera presents a double bill of Trouble in Tahiti by Leonard Bernstein and Doctor Miracle by Georges Bizet. Written decades and continents apart, these disparate operas both provide insight into the human search for happily ever after. Leonard Bernstein's Trouble in Tahiti introduces Sam and Dinah, a married couple whose daily work to cultivate their image as an ideal suburban American family is undercut by their struggles to make their marriage work. A perfect encapsulation of Bernstein's signature musical eclecticism, this one-act opera delivers a scathing satirical critique of post-war American materialism by synthesizing popular American musical styles with the symphonic and operatic traditions of Europe, while Bernstein's self-authored libretto exposes the cracks in the couple's carefully constructed façade. Trouble in Tahiti is sung in English with English titles. Georges Bizet's one-act romantic operetta Dr. Miracle whisks up the delightful comic love story of the young soldier Silvio, who assumes a disguise (or two) and prepares a special omelet just to be near his secret love, Laurette, the daughter of the Mayor of Padua. Written for a competition sponsored by Jacques Offenbach nearly 20 years before Carmen, the work that would make him an operatic legend, Bizet's skill as a composer is already evident in the soaring melodies, surprising harmonies, and brilliant orchestral colors deployed to amplify the comic libretto by Léon Battu and Ludovic Halévy. Dr. Miracle is sung in French with English titles, and features new, English-language dialogue by UofM opera director Benjamin Smith. $20 - General Admission $0 - Students, faculty and staff with UofM ID.

The mission of the conference is to stimulate the ambitions of attendees with school, personal life and society. As the conference has grown, we have included a workshop track specifically for women attendees.

University of Memphis Jazz Singers’ vocalists and musicians, celebrate beloved American music legends George and Ira Gershwin in this special performance in the Traicoff Jazz + Commercial Music Hall. Inspired by the music of their family's roots, the Gershwin brothers married classical music to the new music of the time, jazz, coming out of Harlem. The songwriting team whose voice was synonymous with the sounds and style of the Jazz Age produced hits like Someone to Watch Over Me, Rhapsody in Blue and How Long Has This Been Going On?

The Southern Comfort Jazz Orchestra hosts legendary drummer and percussionist, Bernie Dresel, for a special big band jazz event. Pairing Dresel's high octane playing and extraordinary drumming talents with Southern Comfort’s power vocals and 17-piece ensemble makes for an unforgettable evening. More about Bernie Dresel: Bernie Dresel is a studio drummer and percussionist. He has been with multi-Grammy award-winning artists and recordings; most notably having performed and recorded extensively with The Brian Setzer Orchestra and Gordon Goodwin's Big Phat Band. $20 - General Admission $0 - Students, faculty and staff with UofM ID
