As we reflect on the past year, I am filled with gratitude for each of you and the remarkable milestones we achieved in 2024. Celebrating our 50th golden anniversary was a truly unforgettable chapter in our story.

Looking ahead to 2025, we remain dedicated to meeting our goals as a mission-driven organization. Our strategic plan will continue to guide us in four key areas: strengthening financial sustainability, fostering a culture of belonging, enhancing our role as a trusted community partner and advancing our mission to serve seniors.

HOME CARE VS. HOME HEALTH

Many people tell us they are unsure of the difference between home care services and home health.

Our Home Care services provide non-clinical assistance, like cooking, cleaning, transportation, personal care and companionship—designed to make daily life easier.

Home Care: Focuses on non-clinical, day-to-day support.
Home Health: Provides skilled medical care, such as nursing, therapy or post-surgery recovery, prescribed by a doctor and delivered by licensed professionals.

While Home Health is often covered by insurance, Home Care services are typically privately paid.

WARM HEARTH FOUNDATION SILVER SANTA PROGRAM

Thanks to the incredible generosity of our donors, volunteers and community members, the Silver Santa program once again brought holiday cheer to our residents.

Festive bags were delivered to 80 residents in our apartments and Showalter Center, filling their hearts with joy.

A special thank-you also goes out to Volunteer Montgomery for delivering 120 Holiday Tote Bags to Kroontje Health Care Center residents. Packed with donated goodies, these totes added even more warmth to our community.

Thank you for making this holiday season truly unforgettable.

CALLING ALL MAKERS

We are now accepting applications for the Warm Hearth Village 2025 Spring Arts & Crafts Fair on Saturday, March 29 from 10am to 4pm. All forms of handmade arts, crafts and goods are welcome and there are no fees for vendors. Applications will be accepted through March 4th. Email Mardy Baker at Mbaker@warmhearth.org to apply.

Warm Hearth Fitness Center is excited to introduce Healthy Backs on Tuesdays at 10am. This new class is designed to strengthen, stretch and support your back while improving posture, reducing pain and building core strength.
