Welcome to the Class of 2030 and to our returning students! During Weeks of Welcome (WOW) we want you to meet new people, learn more about campus resources, get involved on campus, and most importantly, have fun. Are you one of our student leaders? Then come join us for a special Mass to celebrate you and your new year at Seton Hall. All Student Leaders (RAs, Blue Crew, Orientation Leaders, Student Workers, etc.) are invited to join us for a special Mass to kick-off the new academic year together.
- Catholic or not, all of our student leaders will receive a special blessing at Mass.

Come try your luck and show off your skills at Campus Ministry’s Annual Cornhole Tournament on the Green. - Meet on the Green at 1 p.m. to get started and have some fun. A special welcome to all of our new students at Seton Hall.

Convocation is the University’s official ceremony welcoming new students into the academic community. As your first formal academic event, it symbolizes the start of your educational journey and serves as an opportunity to reflect on your aspirations, acknowledge the responsibilities of scholarship, and celebrate the University’s commitment to your growth, learning, and success.

Welcome to campus! Whether you are a first year student or an upperclass student returning for the Fall, we can’t wait to see you at Blue Day, our kick off celebration. Enjoy carnival games with prizes, boardwalk concessions like funnel cake & ice cream, and other fun activities!

Start your new school year off right with our Welcome Back Mass and community afterwards! All new and returning students are invited to join Campus Ministry for a special Welcome (Back Mass) in the Main Chapel to wish you luck for the first day of classes, followed by community and conversation afterwards. All are welcome, Catholic or not!

Registration for Fall 2026 classes is still open! Add/Drop ends on September 8– be sure to register and make any changes by then! Don’t forget the many campus resources available to help you succeed:

Anyone wishing to park their vehicle on the South Orange campus must have a valid parking permit. Parking permits are currently on sale through the new digital parking platform, Parking Portal, available through PirateNet. Please note: Your vehicle's license plate must be visible at all times. Vehicles without a front license plate must be parked head-in, so the rear license plate is visible.

Health Insurance
The beginning of a new semester is an exciting time, but with all that excitement and preparation, it can be easy to forget something on your to-do list. That's why we're reminding you of one very important thing: health insurance coverage, a requirement for all students attending Seton Hall. You need to do one of the following:

Are you already covered by a health insurance plan (e.g. a parent's plan)? Complete the waiver today.
- Are you currently without health insurance? Seton Hall offers a great student health insurance plan. Enroll today.
|
Complete Your Immunization Requirements
Reminder: Complete any outstanding health requirements in the Student Health Portal by August 17 to avoid a registration hold.
|
Disability Support Services (DSS)
DSS assists students with receiving accommodations related to their disability. If you are interested in seeking possible accommodations at SHU, please reach out to our office for assistance. Please note having prior accommodations is not a requirement for registering, and if you received accommodations in high school or at a previous institution, they do not automatically transfer over. You can learn more about our registration process here.
