In Lisbon, AlmaLusa Hotels just soft-opened its third, very-Portuguese hotel, AlmaLusa Alfama (left) in Lisbon's Old Town neighborhood, with plans for a 2024 grand opening. The brand also runs Lisbon's popular AlmaLusa Baixa/Chiado and the buzzy, 1-year-old AlmaLusa Comporta on the coast 1.5 hours south of Lisbon.
Olivier Bertrand, who owns the renowned Saint James Paris and Relais Christine with his sisters, has just opened the new Château des Fleurs (center) and Hôtel Norman (right), both near the Champs-Elysées, and it's not stopping there! The group plans to open one more hotel in Paris in 2024: the iconic Balzac, and two more in 2025.

5BR Villa at Canaves Epitome

The new 5-Bedroom Villa at Canaves Epitome (top left), which at almost 8,000 square feet is one of the largest in Oia, sleeps 14 in sleek contemporary design and ultimate comfort. From spacious indoor (4,844 sq. ft.) and outdoor living and dining areas to its infinity pool and expansive terrace (3,444 sq. ft.), the property is ideal for families and groups seeking privacy while at the same time enjoying access to the hotel’s facilities including restaurants, spa and lounges.

The Villa also features a fully equipped kitchen, elevator, private fitness & treatment room, and a furnished lounge-terrace overlooking the Aegean sunset. Seamless personal service with private chefs, butler, concierge and spa therapists also available upon request.

2-4BR Mountain Lofts at Tschuggen Grand hotel

The Tschuggen Grand Hotel has opened new, 2, 3 and 4-bedroom Mountain Villas this season (top right), next to the hotel at over 1,800 metres above sea level. The lofts feature south-facing terraces with mountain panorama views, private sauna areas with separate shower and relaxation lounge, living and dining rooms, fully equipped kitchens, plus the  amenities and 5-star service of the Tschuggen Grand Hotel including concierge service, free use of the Bergoase Spa, shuttles into town and the Tschuggen Express tram.

New BlueVillas in Naxos, Milos, Tinos

BlueVillas is expanding its collection in the Cyclades islands of Naxos, Milos, and Tinos, with plans for more villas on the mainland Peloponnese region and  the magical Athens Riviera. Each BlueVillas property is vetted by the team and fulfills a strict 150-point criteria for inclusion. They can also provide  experiences from culinary adventures, to cultural immersions and outdoor activities to enhance guests' stays.

Journey2Croatia is now the J2 Collection, with the addition of  Journey2Slovenia and Journey2Montenegro. in FLORENCE


Palazzo Vecchietti will be closed for two months from mid-January, reopening mid-March with Florence's newest aperitivo spot on the ground floor of the hotel's 16th century villa. Bravo!
