NASHVILLE, Tenn. — Country rap newcomer Orion Nyles (3rd King Entertainment) announces the release of his new single "Small Town (Comes Back Around,)”* the third unique artistic pairing between Nyles and powerhouse vocalist Brandon Chase (a Top 20 contestant on the NBC hit series The Voice -Season 5). Co-written by Nyles and Chase and produced by Adam Curry (Brantley Gilbert/Riley Green), the original tune is AVAILABLE NOW via all major digital streaming platforms.

Grounded by a twang-driven guitar melody, the track anchors a traditional country sound with contemporary rhythmic and bass elements. A fresh crossover bridging quintessential modern country with the cadence and energy of hip-hop, the unique collaboration seamlessly fuses authentic country foundations and the interpretation of rural storytelling.

Chase's raspy, melodic vocal performance centralizes the small town setting where most believe there's "no place like home" beyond the county line. The narrative depicts the culture of a God-fearing, close-knit community, where personal lives become town gossip and news travels fast. From in-laws to cheating stories, getting a speeding ticket or arriving late to church — scandal and speculation run the rumor mill. Whether a beloved hometown hero or a notorious outcast, local scuttlebutt ensures scrutiny, solidifying the town's whisper-fueled legacy.

Paralleling Nyles' own life story and two romanticisms — living in a small town and leaving to chase a dream — he is the secret unkept. Portraying the counterweight, Nyles' gritty bass tone, rap delivery and verses symbolizes the dream chaser with a grander ambition. He is the idol that left the town and the "come back" who faces admiration, envy or silent judgement with critical gaze.

The instrumentation and perspectives introduce a central tension and haunting conflict: the relationship between remaining connected to one's origins and the disconnect to pursue opportunities beyond them.

"Living in a small town can be bittersweet," Nyles says. "It comes with fond recollection, but with the reality that everything in a small town stays the same. The song is about a hometown boy who makes good and grows away. Fame was never the goal… freedom was."

The new release is keeping with Nyles' momentum as a groundbreaker in the format. He released "Everywhere I Go" (his first collaboration with Chase) in August. He will release his solo single "Go Hard" and the corresponding music video tomorrow, October 31, 2026.

ABOUT
Orion Nyles is a genre-blending country artist whose music lives between melody and rhythm. Rooted in Midwest blue-collar realism, his sound naturally merges contemporary country storytelling, melodic hip-hop and the raw energy of rock.

Rap was a fundamental part of the culture where Nyles grew up in his teens. Channeling musical styles of legendary songcrafters and renowned entertainers (such as Prince, Don Henley, Tupac and Morgan Wallen among others), he has developed an artistic identity all his own by melding rhythmic phrasing and beats into a calm, low-register delivery. No volume, no flash — Orion sings and raps with conversational restraint, profound emotion and deliberate intention.

His craft is defined by a striking duality. A meticulous songsmith, Nyles is dedicated to perfection. He approaches songwriting and production with precision. A fierce street poet, he paints raw, vivid pictures with focus on character, conflict and resolution. Contradicting his rough-around-the-edges, outlaw aura, his storylines and recordings reveal an undeniable sensitivity and emotional depth.

A gritty, charismatic and energetic live performer, Nyles prioritizes authenticity and genuine connection over fleeting trends. Exploring themes of growth, accountability and heartbreak, Orion fearlessly steps beyond traditional boundaries, creating an individualistic space unrestricted by genre lines.
