Dear Goldfish Families,
There’s no other way to say it: We miss you! We miss your children’s smiles, their excitement and their laughter. We miss your proud faces when they conquer their fears or master a new skill...We miss the excitement you all bring to our worlds every day. And sadly, while we had hoped to start lessons again on March 30, we must continue to do our part to help slow the spread of COVID-19 by abiding by and supporting our local health authorities and protecting our community. So, as much as we want to see all of you, at this time, our reopen date is uncertain.
We know it’s been a hectic couple of weeks. And we know that as much as this outbreak is impacting our small business, it's turning your world upside down too. We applaud you for taking the extra steps to keep your family safe, while also coming up with new and fun ways to keep the kids entertained. We know it’s not easy to explain to your young children why they can’t go to school or see their friends. It’s putting a lot on your plate. And we want to help in any small way possible.
To help you make a splash in your at-home routine, we’ve put together some fun activities that you can download and enjoy with your kids today! Also, as we know how important it is to maintain your child’s progress in the pool and help keep them safer in and around the water, we will be rolling out Goldfish on the Go -- fun, virtual dry-land swim lessons that can keep your swimmers practicing until they can get back in the pool!
Additionally, the last thing we want you to worry about during this time is your Goldfish Swim School Membership. Effective for April and until we reopen, we will save your spot in class, but WILL NOT be charging your account.
At Goldfish Swim School, one of our core values is to do the right thing, make the right decisions, and treat people with integrity, compassion and trust. And it’s so clear to us that our members also hold this value near and dear to their hearts. The compassion that you have shown us in our decision to close has been amazing, and we are so grateful to you for your continued support and trust in us. We cannot wait to jump back in the pool with your kids, and plan to open our doors as soon as it is safe to do so.
