1. Thanks Len!
This weekend is a milestone for Deermeadows as we celebrate Len Sak’s five-year service anniversary. Len is a pastor, advocate, and missional coordinator for senior adults. His good sense of humor, work ethic, and even-keel mannerisms have served not only our seniors well, but our staff and the church. Join me in letting Len know about the deep gratitude we have for his ministry here.
2. New Pandemic Protocol
If you haven’t heard yet, scroll down to find the new protocols going into place Sunday, May 16. We appreciate the leadership of our Medical Advisory Team, our Deacon Body, and our Ministry Staff for guiding us into this next step. The date was arrived at by calculating when all Floridians will have had an opportunity to be vaccinated and for the vaccine to take full effect. If all goes well – and we pray it does – more evaluations will be made in June to determine what we might adjust next.
3. For Our Neighbors
Deermeadows never ceases to impress me with the breadth of service you give to help our neighbors. Below you’ll see we’re again opening the campus as a COVID-19 vaccination site this Saturday. Bring yourself and invite a friend – walk ups are welcome!

Every Blessing in Christ,

Larry
PS: Our regularly scheduled quarterly church business meeting is next Wednesday, May 5 @ 6:30pm in Founder's Hall. At this writing I know of no out-of-the-ordinary agenda items.

Senior Adults...

The Senior Adult ministry is hosting a free instrumental concert featuring the First Coast Pops Orchestra on Friday, May 21, at 7:00 pm in the worship center. Because of Covid protocols we are not yet able to pair our entertainment with a dinner, but we hope to provide that experience soon.  Come, join your fellow senior adults for a great evening of music!  The orchestra is led by our own Ralph Coleman and features several members of the Deermeadows family in its ranks!
Sign up online HERE ,in your Sunday morning Bible study class, or by calling the church office, 642-2200.

Please don’t fail to reserve your place!  Looking forward to seeing you there!
The Covid protocols effective May 16, will be in place for the evening to provide a safe environment.
