Summer Session registration open

With eight weeks of classes left in our spring semester, the number of positive cases and positivity test rate both continue to decline. This is due to the collective commitment of our community. Over the last week the 7-day moving average positivity test rate declined over 40%, the number of positive cases declined by over 60%, and the number of students in quarantine or isolation declined at similar rates.
If everyone continues to work hard and follow the proven best practices that mitigate the spread of COVID-19, we can continue driving these rates down and finish the semester as planned.
It requires us to remain vigilant and follow the essential policies that limit social gathering size to those you live with. We know social gatherings are how COVID-19 spreads and to keep everyone safe we will continue to have increased Public Safety in our student residents halls and townhouses. It is important that all members of the community keep up the good work of wearing masks, maintaining social distance, frequent handwashing, and avoiding unnecessary trips off campus. When we all work together we keep Bryant Strong.
Events and Activities
On Tuesday evening, the Bryant community turned out to support our Men’s Basketball team in an historic NEC Championship game. ESPN2 broadcast the game, but the best seats were at Beirne Stadium where students enjoyed safe outdoor viewing in compliance with campus health and safety policies. The game did not end as Bulldog fans hoped it would, but seasonal spring weather is on the way and Student Affairs has a wide range of engaging activities to get involved. Visit engaged.bryant.edu to find out what’s happening and get involved.
Commencement Weekend 2021
In order that all of us can plan to celebrate safely, yesterday Bryant announced current plans for Commencement Weekend 2021, which includes holding ceremonies on Thursday, May 20; Saturday, May 22; and Sunday, May 23. We understand that college graduation is a very significant accomplishment and important milestone for our students, and we want to honor and preserve that milestone and tradition as much as possible. The University will hold in-person Commencement ceremonies for the Class of 2021 in our traditional location under the tent. Following tradition, all graduates participating in the campus ceremonies will process through Bryant’s historic Archway.
