Apply to be a SOUL (Student Orientation Undergrdauete Leader
Your SOUL Application Journey Starts Now!
Let's #RocknSOUL! Welcome the SOUL Search email list! You are receiving this email because you have indicated interest in the Student Orientation Undergraduate Leader (SOUL) position at some point over the last year. Whether we met you at summer orientation or Mega Fair, or you were recommended for the role in a previous year, we're glad to be in touch with you!
SOULs are informed, resourceful guides who assist new students and families throughout the orientation program. They lead small groups of students during orientation programs, and serve as ambassadors to welcome new students to Miami. The recruitment process for the 2020 SOUL team is officially underway!
Get in the Rhythm of Leadership
This year, you'll see all of our marketing materials include music-related imagery like headphones, musical notes, and records. While we're not a music-related organization, SOULs are like an ensemble. The SOUL position, like the creation of music, requires dedication, focus, care, and a united team. Are you ready to get in the rhythm of leadership with the SOUL position?
If selected as a SOUL, you will:
  • develop leadership and interpersonal skills
  • build relationships with a diverse team and incoming first-year students
  • learn more about the university community and its resources
  • earn a salary of $3,000 and room and board during orientation
