Interested in conducting research or perhaps getting a research internship for the SUMMER? Learn about requirements, application process, and incentives when doing research in the summer. Get tips on how to submit a competitive application. Applications will open in mid-November, but first step is to attend this session and find an appropriate lab. NEW WI19 Opportunity: Medical School Prep 101 - 1 unit

Applications Due: November 18th
Attention 1st and 2nd Year students, HealthBeat is offering a a new Winter 2019 FMPH 198 course called Medical School Prep 101.
This course is designed for freshmen or sophomores who are interested in pursuing medicine and becoming physicians. Learn what it takes to prepare for medical school as well as what it takes to be a competitive applicant. We’ll cover everything from academic requirements, timeline and MCAT to obtaining relevant experiences (i.e. healthcare, service, leadership, and research), letters of evaluation, the 15 core competencies and more!

Deadline to apply is Sunday, Nov. 18th at 11:59pm. Early submissions are highly recommended. To learn more about the course and to apply, using the following Google form link.
