Focus on: Kickstarting your candidature

This orientation series for new HDR students consists of three sessions. In these sessions, you will be able to get practical guidance from experienced advisors, have the opportunity to ask any pressing questions, and the chance to connect with other commencing HDR students.

Writing a thesis with publication: Getting started

This workshop will cover how to structure your thesis with publication, how to create cohesion amongst its sections and how to write a strong discussion chapter.

The workshop is based on a study of recent successful theses, and will ensure you fully understand what is expected from a thesis with publications and how to structure one.

Speak and Connect HDR

Speak and Connect HDR is a series of six peer-facilitated conversational workshops which are designed to help you meet and connect with other research students.

Throughout the sessions, you will be able to share your experiences with peers, develop your English communication skills and receive tips and strategies on how to succeed in your candidature and beyond.

Program starts on Monday 11th July for six weeks.
