This activity is for all current Dog Project members, including Cloverbuds. This activity will hapen with or without snow. If we have no snow, we will use the wheel carts.
Our activity will start at 8:30am and will conclude around 11:00am. PLEASE KEEP YOUR DOGS HOME FOR THIS ACTIVITY. We will be interacting with the Huskies.

Another winter activity that we will be participating in will be the Intro to Barn Hunt. It's a fun activity that you can do with your dog. More information will be coming and the date is TBD.
Keep working and having fun with your dogs!

Wisconsin State 4-H Horse ExpoThe Wisconsin State 4-H Horse Expo took place September 13-15, 2024, in Milwaukee.
Note from Cheryl Unke:
We just returned from the Wisconsin State 4-H Horse Expo in Milwaukee and Calumet County did very well.
We entered the educational team in the Horse Judging Contest on Friday evening and the girls ended up taking Grand Champion in their division (Jr. Team with reasons). The team consisted of Gracie Diederichs, Hope Geiger, Keira Unke and Tempe Zahringer. Tempe, Hope and Gracie also received individual Top 10s in that contest as well. I am very proud of the time and effort these girls put into this, their hard work has definitely paid off and we are looking forward to next year.
We also had 6 exhibitors showing horses from Calumet County and they all were very successful as well, receiving multiple Top 10s across a variety of classes. These exhibitors were Gracie Diederichs, Hope Geiger, Carly Schwan, Keira Unke, Nicole Unke and Tempe Zahringer.
In addition to that, we had exhibitors in Photography as well. They also received multiple Top 10s and Alyssa Schneider received a Reserve Champion in one of the photography classes. The photography exhibitors were Addison Schneider, Alyssa Schneider, Keira Unke and Nicole Unke.
Overall, it was a great weekend and a great learning experience for all.
