The Swoop the Loop 5K brings together students, alumni, faculty and community partners for an unforgettable morning of running, networking and fun.
Race through the beautiful nature preserve we call campus. Each entrant receives a race shirt and medal, plus awards for fastest times overall and by age group.
Registration is $50 on race day, but you can register before Feb. 16 for only $35.

Join Dr. James Hall, tenor, and Denise Wright, piano, in Fernandina Beach for a lecture recital on Franz Liszt's Tre Sonetti di Petrarca.
This session will examine composer Franz Liszt's famous settings of 14th-Century poet, Francesco Petrarca's settings of the Laura Sonnets. Historical context, musical and poetic analysis, and a live performance will be included.

This year’s honorees include alumni Sam Inman (‘88), president and CEO of Community First Credit Union; Rhianna Scyster (‘17), community equity and policy manager at 904WARD; Suzette Wilhelm (‘99), senior learning leader at Eduscape, Inc.; David Main (‘14), founder of Main Made Studios; and honorary alumni Sam Garrison, speaker designate for the Florida House of Representatives. | UNF alumna and graduate student opens doors for next generation of Ospreys |
A first-generation college student, Carleigh Eagle's ('21) passion for healthcare led her to immerse herself in biology, chemistry and physics courses at UNF.
Today, Eagle is a 3D engineer specializing in anatomical modeling. Last summer, she returned to UNF to pursue a Master of Science in Materials Science and Engineering under the guidance of assistant professors Drs. Laura Habegger and Grant Bevill.

UNF alumna Fletcher ('16) promoted to Vcheck CEO |
Previously serving as president and chief operating officer at Vcheck, Lyndee Fletcher ('16) has driven the company’s technological evolution and leadership in continuous intelligence, regulatory compliance and financial due diligence.
After graduating from UNF, Fletcher started her path with Vcheck as a marketing associate eight years ago. In her new role, Lyndee is responsible for all aspects of Vcheck's global operations.
