Clean Up Has Begun at WPC
Ward DeWitt, Greg Cornish, Hugh Harvey, Matt Moore and Roger Maness spent an afternoon cleaning up branches. The courtyard behind the Sanctuary, the Mayfair parking lot and the right lane by the stoplight, and the magnolias are a few of the spots they covered. Thanks, Everyone!

Habitat Home Dedication
2:00 p.m.

Habitat for Humanity will dedicate a number of homes that have been completed over the past two years. One of the homes to be dedicated will be owned by our homeowner, Kim L. In addition, Donovan will conduct the blessing of the homes, homeowners, families, and friends at the beginning of the gathering.
Location Change: The dedication will now take place at Habitat HQ at 414 Harding Place.
Because we are dedicating Kim's home, our 32nd home, and Donovan will do the blessing, we would love to have as many WPC members there as possible. You DO NOT have to be a volunteer to attend. So please come out and enjoy the experience AND the food.
Please direct any questions to Jay McCanless, Matt Ashwood, Anthony Breen, or Hugh Harvey.
Mardi Gras at Westminster!

Join us for a Shrove Tuesday pancake supper followed by a rousing concert by the Laudate Youth and Westminster Choirs featuring Robert Ray’s Gospel Mass, Tuesday, February 17. The dinner will begin at 6:30 p.m. in Fellowship Hall and the concert will follow. The choirs will be accompanied by piano, bass, and drums.

This Mardi gras concert is a fundraiser for our two choirs to serve as the choir in residence at Norwich Cathedral in Norwich, England, July 19-25, 2027. The building of this Cathedral began in 1100 A.D. and many of us know the writings of their ancient mystic, Julian of Norwich. The choir will sing Evensong daily and serve as the choir for Sunday morning worship that week. Norwich Cathedral has one of the finest Cathedral choirs in the UK and it is an intergenerational choir with children and youth serving as trebles for the choir. This is a great honor for our choirs, but we do need the help of Westminster to get there. We will begin selling tickets in the Parlor on Sunday mornings next week.  Please plan now to join us for a delicious and fun Mardi Gras celebration Westminster style, Tuesday, February 17, 6:30 p.m., and support our choirs!
Look for registration info in Wednesday's Email Blast.

We will hear from a number of local speakers who will lead discussions on topics including the food landscape of Nashville, community gardening, orchards, hot meals, food pantries, and advocacy. We hope you’ll join us as we come together as a community to seek sustainable, long-terms solutions to hunger. The event is free and breakfast and lunch will be provided—please register below.
