THIS WEEK:
What's Next?
YOUR APPLICATION IS APPROVED. NOW WHAT?
Wait to hear from the Monitoring Firm. At the time of application, you selected which Monitoring Firm you would like to use for your 2023 Monitoring Visit. You have been placed on the Monitoring Firm's contact list and they will contact you to schedule the Monitoring Visit according to their scheduling policy. Monitoring Firms will call 2-3 weeks before the visit to set up a time and date. Monitoring Visits will begin in late June. Any questions about scheduling or invoicing should go directly to the Monitoring Firm. Contact information here.
Make sure all individuals listed on the Certification Application (Primary and Associates) have completed Annual GAP Training. All growers listed on the application must complete 2023 Annual GAP Training by June 30. If you have not completed training, you may complete Annual GAP Training online through your Grower Dashboard. More information.
Complete the Self-Assessment. The Self-Assessment is a requirement for all growers going through GAPC Certification Program and must be completed prior the Monitoring Visit. The Self-Assessment is one per operation and can be found by logging into the Grower Dashboard at www.gapconnections.com and clicking on "Grower Self-Assessment". View video tutorial.
Preparing for the Monitoring Visit. Review the materials in the approval packet that was emailed or mailed to you. This packet includes the GAPC Certification Compliance Guide. The Compliance Guide document lists the questions that will be asked and the method of verification. Didn't receive an approval packet? Contact GAPC at 865.622.4606 or info@gapconnections.com.
