MARCH 2024

FROM THE PARENT PROGRAM DIRECTOR

Happy New Year 2024 graphic
First off, I want to say a big THANK YOU for helping Lipscomb reach its Giving Day goals! Our parent donor goal was 350. We exceeded our goal with 474 parents donating to the areas of campus they are passionate about. Every gift matters, and we appreciate you pouring into the lives of our students.
I hope everyone had a wonderful spring break! These last few weeks are going to fly by! As we enter this last stretch of the semester, encourage your student to keep working hard as they are working on their projects and taking tests. If your student is struggling or just needs a some extra help, remind them that the Academic Success Center is available to help.
Below you will find helpful announcements to help you transition through the remainder of the year, as well as several opportunities to join us on campus.

Go Bisons!

Director of Parent Engagement

FINANCIAL AID

Federal Student Aid logo
As you are probably already aware, it is time to complete your FAFSA on studentaid.gov. It is always a good idea to file your FAFSA as soon as you are able. It is even more important if your student plans to take advantage of state aid. We encourage you to file your FAFSA as soon as possible to ensure your eligibility for Tennessee State Aid. The Tennessee Student Assistance Corporation (TSAC) has stated that it will begin initial awarding based on FAFSA received by April 15, 2024.
If you have experienced difficulties completing your FAFSA, they have advice for various concerns. Please visit Completing the 2024-25 FAFSA on www.studentaid.gov.
