Q: My student and I received requested revisions on our IRB protocol, but I am receiving an error message when I click on the link to the form in the email. Why?
A: It is likely that your student was the first one to open the form and didn’t add you as a “Collaborator” on the form. Instead, they likely completed the draft and submitted the form, routing it to you as the Principal Investigator. In OneAegis, the person who initially opens the form is the “owner” of the form. For others to access the form in that stage, they need to be added by clicking the blue “Collaborators” button on the top of any page in a form. Ask your student to add you as a Collaborator with “edit, manage, and submit” rights. This will allow you to edit and resubmit the form to the IRB.

Executive Orders Continue to Impact Federally-Funded Projects
The Office of Sponsored Programs is carefully monitoring the impact of all Executive Orders on federal funding impacting GVSU faculty, staff, and students. While much remains uncertain, we are still submitting proposals to grant opportunities and strategizing how best to navigate changing guidance. If you are considering a submission to a federal program, please reach out to your Grants and Contracts Specialist and we can help you strategize. You can follow our website for updates and also the Division of People, Equity, and Culture's Updates & Resources for general impact on the GVSU community.
